Sell & Trade Your Secondhand Books
We have open selling/trading two (2) days a week:
Fridays from 11am-4 pm
Mondays from 11am-4 pm.
During these hours, you can bring in up to 50 books to sell/trade without an appointment.
Can’t make it during those times? No worries, we also offer appointments!
For larger collections (more than appx. 50-60 books or approximately three (3) average-sized boxes/shopping bags), we ask that you please request an appointment to minimize wait times for other people.
We pay approximately 20% of the resale value in cash (what we will sell the book for in our store) or 30% of the value in store credit.
We are very selective about the books we take, but we do buy a lot of books in almost all categories/genres! We must see the books in person to make a final determination.
Please Note: we do not make house calls or take donations. To donate books, please contact your local library or thrift store. Thank you!
Make an in-store appointment:
If you can’t make it in during our open buying hours (Mondays 11am-4pm and Fridays 11am-4pm), or if you have more than 50ish books, please use this form to make an in-store appointment.
We will need some picture(s) of the books or at least a cross-section of them to give us a very basic idea of what you have. The pictures do not need to show every book, but we want to get an idea of what you have. Without pictures, we will likely not be able to make an appointment.
Please also let us know what days/times might work for you for an appointment. Ideal times for appointments for us are Mondays and Fridays 10-11 or 4-6, Wednesday mornings, and Saturdays/Sundays from 1-5pm.
If pictures are not uploading, you may be trying to attach too many/too large filesize. Please try sending one at a time, or sending fewer pictures or smaller resolution files.
- PLEASE NOTE!!!!! The head buyer is on vacation until May 20th, response time may be delayed and we may not have appointments available.
